Pre Wedding Travel

Well, Steve and I are now getting closer to the 2 month mark. Crazy right! The last month and a half has flown by. The last three weekends Either Steve or I have been out of town so we have not spent a weekend together in a while it feels like; it's weird how it feels OK though. Of coarse we missed each other while we where away but there is a sense of security now that we know we will be spending eternity together, so one or three weekends apart is really no big deal.

The first weekend I flew to Utah to do some wedding planning and I think I got a lot done! I got to look at the venue for the reception and take a tour of the Draper temple during the open house. It was very neat! It's not to often you get to walk through the temple you will be getting married in before you have even been through the temple. It was a neat experience. I spent some good time with my family and went wedding dress shopping which was really fun, I highly recommend it! I also had the opportunity while in Utah to go visit Steve's family and have dinner with them. I though at first it would be a little hard to go there without Steve with me, but it was a very pleasant experience and Steve's family was incredibly inviting and warm.

The second weekend, Steve left me! He decided to go golfing in St. George with his dad and brother. He had a very good time. He actually came back and said "How do you feel abut moving back to Utah?" I think he got a little taste of family in St. George and thought it would be nice to live close to them. I would love to move back to Utah eventually, right now I am extremely content, but now that we are getting married I think we could be content anywhere.

The third weekend was actually a work conference in Las Vegas for me, and it was A LOT of work. I am still recovering from it. We stayed at the Paris hotel where the convention was held and we had many amazing speakers such as Brian Tracy, Jim Cathcart, Dan Caro and Bill Bartmann (the 25th richest man in the world.) They are all motivational speakers and after the conference was over (even though I didn't even get to hear

Dan Caro & I
most of them speak,) I felt more motivated! I Still do. It was a good time but I am glad to be home... at least for a bit.

Dan Caro playing the drums, even with no hands... So amazing!

Those three weekends are not the end of it, Steve and I will be making multiple trips back and
forth to Utah up until we get married since our wedding is in another state. We look forward to bringing Weston with us next trip. It will be the weekend of April 18th for my good friend Jonelle's wedding. Registration Desk
